Privacy notice pursuant to Legislative Decree 30.6.03, n. 196. We inform that personal data will be used only for the purposes of invoicing and the customer-supplier relationship and will not be disseminated outside our company. The data controller is Dr. Vito Bolognese.
This Notice is provided, pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) “European Regulation on the protection of personal data”, to customers, suppliers (current and potential), or only guests, natural persons who are sole proprietors and natural persons acting in the name and on behalf of legal persons, of the company PET VILLAGE Srl. The aforementioned regulation contains provisions for the protection of individuals and other subjects regarding the processing of the “personal data” provided, which will be processed in compliance with the aforementioned regulation and according to the principles of lawfulness, correctness, transparency and protection of confidentiality and the rights of the Data Subject (natural person), with particular reference to integrity, confidentiality, personal identity and the right to the protection of personal data.
Information on the Processing of Personal Data
This privacy notice is intended to inform how personal data is collected, used, stored and, if applicable, transmitted to third parties or processed in other ways by PET VILLAGE Srl.
Data Controller
The data controller of personal data is PET VILLAGE Srl, to whom you can refer, through the email address info@petvillage.it for the exercise of the rights indicated below.
Data Subject
The Data Subject is any identified or identifiable natural person, directly or indirectly, with particular reference to an identifier such as name, an identification number, location data, digital contact data, a web identifier, or one or more elements characteristic of his or her physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.
Personal Data
Personal Data (hereinafter Data or Personal Data) means any information concerning the Data Subject.
Object of Processing and Personal Data Collected
The Data of such natural persons processed by the Controller consists of: name, surname, tax code, company name, address, IP address, telephone, email, bank and payment references, tax code, VAT number and images.
Purposes of Processing and Legal Basis
The personal data provided by the Data Subject will be used:
A) without the need for express consent, for the following purposes:
• To manage and enable the supply of the requested products/services, manage accounting and tax obligations, enable effective management of relationships with customers and suppliers in order to respond to requests for organization of the supply, information, assistance, suggestions and/or specific needs reported by the Data Subject;
• To fulfill pre-contractual obligations, including financial evaluation;
• To fulfill contractual, fiscal and administrative obligations arising from existing relationships;
• To carry out operations necessary for the fulfillment of orders and other requests, including managing and controlling risks and preventing possible defaults or non-compliance, including communication of the data provided to third parties when necessary for contractual performance; including communications to banks, service companies and consultants for financial obligations related to the contractual relationships established;
• To fulfill obligations established by law, regulation, community legislation or order of the Authority, of any nature: accounting, administrative, fiscal, civil, regulatory, health, supervisory, etc.;
• To prevent or detect fraudulent activities or harmful abuses;
• To prevent and manage possible disputes, to take legal action if necessary;
• To exercise the rights of the Controller, such as the right of defense in court;
• To initiate and manage transactions and compensation practices in the event of damage and/or claims;
• To protect rights and property: in the event that the rights and property of PET VILLAGE Srl have been or may be compromised, the user’s personal data may be used in order to protect such rights and/or property. Furthermore, the Controller reserves the right to disclose the Data Subject’s personal data, provided that such disclosure is required by law or order of the competent authorities.
• To manage spontaneous applications: job applications contain personal data (for example curriculum vitae, contact data, etc.). Such personal data may be used internally to decide whether to offer the applicant a position or to respond to the application letter. The recorded data will be kept for the time strictly necessary for the evaluation of the potential candidate, after which it will be deleted, except as otherwise specifically requested by the candidate. Consent to the processing of data will be requested at the time of the possible first contact, in the case of an interview following the execution of the selection process.
• To use video recordings through the video surveillance system adopted for security purposes and protection of company assets. In this case, the personal data collected (images) are retained for 24 hours from detection, after which they are deleted by overwriting.
The provision of data for the purposes referred to in point A) is obligatory. In the absence of such data, it will not be possible to guarantee the execution of the pre-contractual, contractual relationship or the correct fulfillment of all obligations related to the provision of products and services.
B) with the need for express consent, for the following purposes:
• To use personal data, on the occasion of trade fairs, for future commercial contacts via email, subscription to newsletters, calls from the commercial office, responses to requests for quotes. The personal data collected are stored by the controller after adopting the technical and organizational measures in line with the relevant regulations. The Data Subject may at any time request the deletion of his or her previously communicated data. In such case, PET VILLAGE will refrain from carrying out commercial activities as indicated above.
• To use images or video recordings on the occasion of trade fairs, product presentations at events or similar events, for publications on its own social networks. In this case, the personal data collected (images) are stored by the controller after adopting the technical and organizational measures in line with the relevant regulations. The Data Subject may at any time request the deletion of his or her images published on the Controller’s social networks.
The provision of data for the purposes referred to in point B) is optional. In the absence of consent, PET VILLAGE will refrain from carrying out the Data Processing activities as described above.
Personal data will be processed in paper and electronic form and entered into databases that may be accessed exclusively by the Controller and his authorized persons and possibly external data processors duly appointed in accordance with privacy regulations. The data processed electronically have been subjected to appropriate security measures to protect the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of the Data Subject.
Methods of Processing and Retention Period
Data processing for the purposes outlined is carried out through collection, recording, organization, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, deletion and destruction of data. Data processing takes place both with automated electronic means and with non-automated paper support, in compliance with confidentiality and security rules provided by law, consequent regulations and internal provisions. The Controller will process personal data for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which they are processed (the “principle of limitation of retention”) and in any case for no more than 10 years, or for a different duration if provided by sector legislation, from the termination of the relationship for the purposes referred to in point A) (unless other legislative requirements). For the purposes referred to in point B), the Data Subject has the right to request deletion of his or her Data at any time.
Access to Data
The Data Subject’s data may be made accessible for the purposes indicated above. Personal data processed by the Controller will not be disseminated, nor will they be made available to unspecified subjects, in any form, including making them accessible or simple consultation. They may, however, be processed by employees of the Controller and by certain external subjects who collaborate with them.
Possible Recipients of Data
Depending on the type of business operation, the data may be exchanged with third parties involved (e.g., public administration, banks, consultants, debt collection companies, etc.). Some or all of the Personal Data collected may be communicated to business partners of the Controller:
• for contractual purposes strictly connected to the improvement of distribution development by the granting companies;
• for purposes strictly connected to its own operations in order to ensure hospitality at its own trade fair stand;
• for sending commercial, promotional and advertising communications by mail, telephone, automated call systems, fax, email, sms, mms, concerning products and services of the Controller and/or directly propose commercial offers.
Personal data may also be disclosed to satisfy legal requirements or to enforce rights and agreements in accordance with laws and similar obligations:
• to apply or comply with a law, regulation, order issued by a public authority or mandatory measures;
• to detect and prevent threats to security, fraud or other harmful activities;
• to protect and/or enforce rights and property;
• to protect the rights and personal safety of our employees and third parties.
In relation to the purposes indicated above, data may also be disclosed, within strictly necessary limits, to the following subjects who perform outsourcing activities on behalf of the Controller, in their capacity as external processors or to categories of subjects indicated below: consultants lawfully appointed to carry out such processing in full compliance with minimum measures in force, or when the communication is in the interest of the subject (natural person or legal entity) or when the communication is required by law; banks when the communication is in the interest of the subject. Finally, they may be communicated to subjects entitled to access them by virtue of legal provisions, regulations or community norms, for example Public Administration when communication is required by law, or is in the interest of the subject.
Place and Transfer of Data
Data will be processed at the Controller’s premises and any other location in which the parties involved in the processing are located. The management and storage of personal data will take place on servers located within the European Union of the Controller and/or any third party companies appointed and duly nominated as Data Processors. Currently the Controller’s servers are located in Italy. Data will not be transferred outside the European Union. However, if necessary, the Controller shall have the right to move server locations within Italy and/or the European Union and/or non-EU countries. In such case, the Controller ensures that transfer of data outside the EU will take place in accordance with applicable legislation by entering into agreements that guarantee adequate protection and/or adopting the standard contractual clauses provided by the European Commission.
Rights of the Data Subject
The Data Subject has the right to request information in writing about his or her stored personal data.
In particular, the rights of the Data Subject are:
right of access: the Data Subject has the right to obtain from the Data Controller confirmation as to whether or not a Processing of Personal Data concerning him or her is in progress and, in such case, to obtain access to the Personal Data and the following information:
• the purposes of the Processing;
• the categories of Personal Data concerned;
• the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the Personal Data have been or will be communicated, in particular if recipients are in third countries or international organizations;
• where possible, the envisaged period of storage of the Personal Data or, if this is not possible, the criteria used to determine such period;
• where the Personal Data are not collected from the Data Subject, all available information on their origin;
• the existence of an automated decision-making process, including profiling;
• all the references of the appointed and currently active Processors and Authorized persons.
In the case of further copies requested by the Data Subject, a contribution to expenses based on administrative costs may be charged;
right of rectification or integration of Personal Data already provided;
right to erasure: the Data Subject has the right to obtain the erasure of the Personal Data if:
• the Personal Data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected (automatic erasure or without request by the Data Subject);
• the Data Subject revokes the consent on the basis of which the Processing was carried out or the other conditions of the Processing cease to exist (e.g. legal or contractual obligations or legal basis);
• no legitimate reason of the Controller exists;
• the Personal Data are processed unlawfully;
• the Personal Data must be erased to comply with a legal obligation.right to restriction of processing: it may be exercised not only in the case of unlawful processing (alternative method to the erasure of the Data themselves), but also if the Data Subject requests the rectification of the Personal Data (in this case the restriction will apply pending such rectification by the Processor) or objects to their processing (in this case the restriction will apply pending the assessment by the Controller/Processor).
right to data portability: the Data Subject has the right to request the portability of the Personal Data, which consists of:
• the return of his or her provided Data in a structured format, commonly used and readable by an automatic device;
• if technically feasible, the direct transmission of the Personal Data from one Data Controller to another, without impediments from the Data Controller who provided them.
• For this purpose, it is necessary that for the Processing:
• it has been carried out on the basis of the Data Subject’s Consent or is carried out in execution of a contract;
• it is carried out by automated means.right to object: the Data Subject has the right to object to the Processing of Personal Data concerning him or her, unless the Controller demonstrates the existence of compelling legitimate grounds for proceeding with the Processing that prevail over the interests, rights and freedoms of the Data Subject or for the establishment, exercise or defense of a right in judicial proceedings.

Data Security
The Controller undertakes to adopt multiple security measures to ensure confidentiality and integrity of personal information. However, due to the nature of the Internet, total absence of gaps in data transmission over the Internet (e.g. email communication) cannot be guaranteed, and complete protection against access by third parties is not possible.
